FALL NESTING

I was putting some outfits together for our trip to New York and of course I had to pack some gingham! It's my favorite pattern as well as stripes. The shirt is from Zara, need I say more? The skirt is black denim with a frayed hem and a cool super-sized pocket on the side. I got it at Nordstrom Rack. The shoes are Miu Miu ballet shoes without the ribbon. I love that you can choose to wear the ribbons for a feminine look or leave them off for a more edgy vibe. 

What do you wear to a concert?

We scored free tickets to the Ed Sheehan concert at the Bridgestone arena and what a wonderful concert it was! Ed is quite the musical genius. 

Raleigh went full on teenager with her, or rather my, Fender guitar t-shirt and jeans. I wore my favorite Isabel Marant blouse with jeans. The bartender at dinner even complimented me on my "retro" blouse. Ha! Talk about feeling old.

Now that Raleigh is in high school we have lots of dances and events to dress up for. This was her first homecoming dance and boy did we have fun finding a dress! Where I went to high school you did NOT dress up like this. Boys, look out!
